2'-deoxynucleoside 5'-triphosphates (dNTPs)
dNTP - Deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP, dUTP) are used in molecular biology as a substrate in DNA template synthesis reactions.
They are used in DNA fragment amplification, DNA labeling, sequencing reactions using dideoxy terminators, and in a number of other cases.
They are obtained by chemical synthesis from 2'-deoxynucleoside-5'-monophosphates and purified using a multi-step chromatographic process (IOX, RPC).
